okay i've finally got the boot of them rehearsing in the studio for the tour.
fuck.
i really like what Cozy brought. he brought rock to this band in the mid 80s. commercially? bad idea ... but prog rock in the 80s was inherently a commercial failure. artistically? Cozy doing his thing from his perspective with rock beats and this music fits better than post-click track Palmer did alot of times. Cozy just _feels_ better keeping time and adding accents in his way than Palmer did after that fucking asshole who convinced him to change his whole approach did his damage.
it's a god damn shame this whole project was an abortion.
if only their retarded coked-up management had let them go with the Giger art for the cover of the album i think people would view this period differently.
