Earthdance 2009: here's what happened
i might upload some more pics later, but here's the primary report: Chris Sloan and I went to Iowa City and had a good weekend. the power was crappy so i had to deal with equipment failure but i got by.

apparently i played a "minimal dark electro" set. whatever that means. regardless of what it was, according to what i was told by observers i am to assume i can throw down a worthwhile "live PA" set even under duress. this was good to hear.

there were a lot of complimentary and friendly people at the event and it was good to be in a situation like that again. i for one hope that i see The Half-Naked Indian again, even though i don't want to see him anywhere near half-naked.

i also got to introduce Chris (aka

pasulel) to Bishop's Cafeteria and Buffet, and

chaircrusher took this photo, made this recording, and met us for lunch at a place called Panchero's that makes their own tortillas. pretty cool weekend all around IMHO.
